Not content with trying to revamp the British highstreet Mary Portas is at it again.
In her latest adventure shes decided to encourage people to buy British manufactured clothing and save our factory communities.
And her great big idea- to make a line of British manufactured knickers.
We can see the sentiment and we can understand why shes doing this- wed all like to see Britains manufacturing and retail business boom again but we cant see how pants will really help, unless of course the are the ones attached to Superman.
Unfortunately they are not.

Is a Jersey Shore wedding in the works? After reports surfaced last week that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is pregnant, the reality-star, 24, now appears to also be planning a walk down the aisle.
Snooki, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Jionni LaValle later this year, was photographed Monday sporting some serious bling on her ring-finger.
The diamond, which looks to be a pink square-cut design, helped to fuel rumors spun earlier this week when a source confirmed that LaValle had indeed popped the question.

Set against the white backdrop of the Phillips de Pury venue, Alistair Carr took inspiration from his youthful memories of a girl he used to know at school, ‘grown out of her teenage angst into a sophisticated woman, but with just a hint of that rebellious past remaining’ says Carr on the show notes.
The collection referenced school uniforms with integral box pleats mirroring the pleating of school skirts, formed in cashmere and luxury basket weave fabrics, were seen on skirts, coats and jumpers.
Keeping with the brand’s heritage, Carr also included a lot of knitwear, from the classic cashmere rollneck to the Memphis-inspired jacquard knits with a trompe loeil cardigan effect that opened the show, some of which were gorgeous pops of colour in candy pink and mint shades.
Colour also popped up in the outerwear in a more subtle way, adding contrasting colour collars and sleeves in bubble gum pink, mint and navy.
The show also attracted a celeb-packed front row with Olivia Palermo, Rose Bryne, Jasmine Guinness, Jade Parfitt and blogger Bip Ling.
