Pretty Ballerinas Dances Its Way to Beverly Hills by Deborah Belgum

June 26th, 2011 by Annabelle Lemberg

Does the ballerina style of shoe ever go out of fashion?

Apparently not. Pretty Ballerinas, a line of ballerina-style footwear that is made by hand on the Spanish island of Menorca, is celebrating its 93rd year in business by opening a store in Beverly Hills on July 7 at 371 N. Camden Drive. For the opening, fashionistas will be able to choose from 93 styles from the Summer collection as well as 93 styles from the Winter collection, just in case you don’t want to repeat what you already have in your closet. June 26th, 2011 by Rebecca Hull

Beyonce treated a select crew of celebs and music industry insiders to a secret gig in London last night…

A mere mortal might have pleaded exhaustion after a high-energy, hour-and-a-half Glastonbury set. But Beyonce moved on from her triumphant turn at the music festival to a far more intimate performance at her 4 album launch party in London on Monday night.

And it was no different in New Haven at Fenn-Feinstein, Langrock, Arthur M. Rosenbe

June 25th, 2011 by Annabelle Lemberg

Merrell makes shoes for the outdoors (as well as some apparel and bags), so it seems fair and reasonable that their mission and marketing manta might be, “Let’s Get Outside.” To share this mission Merrell support a bunch of organisations that work to increase participation in the outdoors, especially among children, and those that protect natural playgrounds for kids-at-heart of all ages to recreate in.

The most recent campaign connected to this notion of getting folk outside has been to launch the Add Your Own Scenery project. People are encouraged to get outside, take photos of their favourite vistas, post them to a website, which compiles a ’round the world database of the outdoor world, which other can view.
